Pure Olive Oil Soap

Pure olive oil soap.

Pure olive oil soap for washing anything - especially good for wool wraps!

We use this as a family soap bar, as it is scent-free, a good size and we don't seem to get through it as fast as some other soaps. My husband particularly likes it for shaving. This soap doesn't seem to dry the skin.

Like all natural soaps, keep dry in between uses, as they absorb moisture easily.

Ingredients

Saponified olive oil, water, mineral salts.

Saponification is the hydrolysis of an ester under basic conditions to form an alcohol and the salt of the acid. Saponification is commonly used to refer to the reaction of a metallic alkali (base) with a fat or oil to form soap. Saponifiable substances are those that can be converted into soap.
