After one or two times it comes very easily. Using the feeding position means I can carry on with looking after my 3 year
old, while the baby is secure and contently feeding. She is incredibly cosy and snug in the carrier. If she is not feeding she is pretty quickly lulled to sleep. The other great benefit is it is so discreet when I need to feed out of the home.
I have also used the Tummy to Tummy position, again she is very cosy and content. I like being able to pull across the extra layers if she needs more support or is cold.
Above all, it is very comfortable to wear, my back, neck and shoulders all feel fine, even after a few hours.

Kari Me enables good weight distribution as most of the baby's weight is taken around the carer's waist. In the sitting and lying positions used for young babies it gives support along the baby's body and reduces spinal compression.

Its unique design better distributes the baby's weight over the parent's shoulders and waist, helping to maintain the carer's natural posture and prevent potential damage to the carer's back. Kari Me's Side Position is better than holding a toddler on the hip mainly because the carrying is done with a straighter back and with reduced load on the parent's spine.

The baby fits into the contours of the carrier's body, providing both physical and emotional support. There are no ties or buckles and therefore no places to cause friction and soreness.
For the carrier weight is well distributed across shoulders, back and waist. The baby is comfortably close the the carrier and doesn't pull against the carrier making transporting them easy for both baby and parent.
The variety of ways to carry the baby is excellent and the breast feeding position is too good to be true. I had to try it to believe it!
