The Hippychick Mattress Protector is ideal for protecting the family bed. When breastfeeding in bed and when you have a few cherubs snuggled up next to you, occasional wet patches are inevitable. This mattress protector makes changing the sheets a doddle. It can either be laid between the sheet and mattress or on top of the sheet. Have two, so you always have one next to the bed for night-time changes, so everyone can get back to sleep straightaway.

Made from two layers of absorbent natural soft brushed cotton with a thin layer of polyurethane laminated between them, this bed protector is easy to use and comfortable for your child, without the traditonal crackly feel and sound of old-fashioned plastic sheets. The waterproof layer is breathable and does not get as hot as traditional PVC or rubber. The cotton layer is absorbent and doesn't get sweaty either. If you use it above the sheet, it's just like sleeping on a heavyweight sheet (and you absolutely can't smell the PUL layer at all). It's a brilliant invention.
